AUGUSTA, Maine —The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported 197 new coronavirus cases on Saturday and one new death.
The number of Mainers with COVID-19 who have died now sits at 702.
The only death Saturday was reported in Oxford county.
The 197 additional cases bring the total number since the beginning of the pandemic to 44,492.
The seven-day average for new cases is now at 162.9.
